The Emergency Center is a freestanding emergency room – a fully equipped emergency room that is always staffed with board-certified physicians, ICU- and ER-trained nurses, X-ray technicians, and helpful administrative staff. The main difference between us and a traditional emergency room is that our facilities aren’t directly connected to a hospital.
At The Emergency Center, we believe in providing emergency medicine that is quick and efficient, allowing our patients to get back to enjoying their lives as soon as possible. Our facilities are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, in order to provide patients with the same high level of comprehensive care that they would expect from a traditional emergency room.
We are qualified to treat a wide range of ailments, from a sore throat to cardiac arrest, and offer a variety of services, including:
– High-resolution CT scans
– X-ray imaging
– Ultrasound imaging
– Onsite lab testing
– Procedural sedation
– Onsite pharmacy services
– And more
Our patients appreciate the treatment they receive from The Emergency Center because of our unique approach to patient care. Our goal is to educate our patients, providing them with all the information necessary to make an informed decision about their health care. We also aim to make our services more convenient than those of a traditional emergency room and other medical facilities, which is why we proudly take the “waiting” out of the “waiting room.” Our patient volume is much lower than traditional ERs, so we can provide the same high standard of care in a fraction of the time. Plus, because we believe that outstanding medical treatment doesn’t end when a patient walks out of our facility, we offer telemedicine services to check on patients after their visits. Using a smartphone or tablet, our physicians can see how their patients are faring, potentially eliminating the need for an in-office follow-up visit.
